Sterilization & Infection Control
At Mint & Glow Mobile Dental Hygiene, your safety is always our highest priority. We follow strict protocols for sterilization, transportation, and infection prevention — the same professional standards you would expect in a traditional dental office.
Our mobile practice fully adheres to Public Health IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) principles and current evidence-based guidelines. Every measure is taken to ensure safe, effective, and consistent care, no matter where your appointment takes place.
To maintain these standards:
We use a Masteri Class B autoclave, tested daily for effectiveness following CDC guidelines.
A dry block incubator is used each day to verify that sterilization cycles are effective by checking for negative spore growth.
All sterilization results are carefully documented on biological record sheets, which are securely stored for 10 years.
